Joe Keen POON

Joe Keen POON has a proven CEO track record across Asia & Europe. He has successfully led organizations, from start-ups, to turning around very large and mature businesses in Asia.

As a member of the governing council and also chairman of the professional development committee at the Singapore Institute of Directors, he has led the effort to equip board directors to improve governance in key areas like ESG.

Joe was the Managing Director (Smart Cities) and Group Chief Technology Officer at has also steered Surbana Jurong, the world’s consultancy powerhouse for urbanisation and infrastructure developments. In this capacity, he successfully created Smart City in a BoxTM, Asia’s largest city-wide monitoring services, which leveraged on technology to enable sustainable and secure operations of cities

Earlier, he has led led XChanging, a top Business Process Outsourcing firm’s commercial success in the East Asia & Japan market as President.

Joe spent 9 years at Microsoft. He was the winner of 3 top awards (Circle of Excellence, Champions Award, Worldwide IW Sales & Marketing Award). In his last role, he was in the executive team as the Segment Director, OEM Business in Singapore. In that role, Joe leads Microsoft’s success in not just the flagship Windows, Office & Server businesses, and also the growth of emerging mobile devices business.

He was also the winner of the Public Service Commission scholarship from the Singapore Government in 1990.

Adrian Cheok

Adrian is presently consulting in Materiality with Turnkey.Tech, a ESG Data Aggregation and Analytics Company and has been working closely with a Major Global Organization to create a model for such large organizations to bring their Scope 3 into the fold in order to create a true Sustainability Profile for the organization and to better enable their Net Zero Achievement.

He has extensive experience in various aspects of Business, particulary in the Aviation and Hospitality industries.

He was recently Director of Business Development and Head of Legal Services for Formia Airline Supplies Ltd, the global leader in Airline Amenities distribution. As Head of Legal, he negotiated and agreed terms for all legal agreements such as Brand Licenses, Contract Manufacturing Agreements etc with Major International Brands like Ferragamo, Versace etc and working with major Airlines like Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Qantas, American Airlines etc

He was a Vice President at ST Engineering Ltd and was seconded to run the ST Aerospace Academy which trained pilots for major airlines. He was the Director fo the first ever Singapore Multi-Crew Pilot License Beta program under the auspices of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore and with Tiger Airways as the participating airline.

He consulted for China based Approved Training Organizations in the use of Competency Based Training & Assessment and Evidence Based Training in Pilot Training and was based in Qingdao PRC for 1 year.

He spent 14 years in the Airline Inflight (Passenger Customer Experience) Industry with Gunter ACS GmbH and DeSter BV, world leaders in the industry, leading Sales, Marketing and Business Development teams in Asia Pacific.

He started his working life as a Combat Engineer Office in the Singapore Army and then an Air Warfare Officer in the RSAF, He was a Senior Member of the RSAF Electronic Warfare Core Group and managed multiple Classified Projects. He was Organizing Secretary of the National Day Parade Ex-Co for 1992 National Day Parade.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree with Honours in Civil Engineering, an MBA in International Business & Finance and a Postgrad Dip in Marketing. He was invited to be a Fellow by the Chartered Management Institute, United Kingdom and was admitted as such in 2003. He is married with 2 adult daughters.
